MY BACKGROUND
During the last four years you gave me the opportunity to go to work on improving Ward 6 in all areas. The following is a list of the work I achieved on your behalf:

Over $10M in infrastructure improvements and projects for Ward 6

Brought numerous memos to Council directing staff to include many communities and roads within the 5-year roads plan

Made communities safer by installing a 4 Way Stop between Omemee and Downeyville and reducing speed zones in various built up areas throughout Ward 6

Improved customer service to residents by logging over 300 case files for many issues. All have been resolved or are in progress

Kept my promise of securing over 1000 jobs that came to our municipality in the past four years

During the early part of the pandemic I, along with help from individuals and businesses, coordinated donations of PPE to Pinecrest nursing home and our EMS

Advocated at Council for responsible spending and debt control

Worked with Trent Severn Waterway and First Nations on an agreement concerning Wild Rice planting and harvesting in Pigeon Lake

Supported the Council resolution to drop commercial development charges for up to 2500 sq. m. to encourage economic development

Worked to freeze the mpac assessment for farms and residential properties

Worked to have the International Plowing Match & Rural Expo come to Kawartha Lakes in 2024

Attended 100% of Council meetings during my term to ensure maximum representation for Ward 6 Constituents

TESTIMONIALS
Margaret Gorrell
Downeyville
Ron has worked tirelessly to make sure roads in Ward 6 have been re done where and when needed.
He has also made sure a badly needed 4 Way Stop was put in place at Sturgeon and Peace Road which has seen many unnecessary accidents over the years. On October 14- 24th vote for Ron and he will get the job done.
